Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This policy describes how information is handled when you use the Wave Engage website and service.

1. Overview

Wave Engage handles information when you use this website and the Wave Engage service. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

The service is in limited beta and is meant for businesses.

2. Information we collect

Sign-up page. When you sign up we collect the email address, plus your IP address, approximate location, browser details and timestamp. We use them to notify us of the sign-up and to prevent abuse. We send an email notification containing them to our team through an email service provider. We also use the email address to notify you when beta access opens.

Contact form. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email, company and message, plus your IP address and browser details. We use the IP address and browser details to prevent abuse. We email the name, email, company and message to our team through an email service provider. Cloudflare Turnstile is used on the form to prevent abuse and may process technical information such as IP address and browser details.

Account and project content. Once an account exists, we store your email address and company name. Your private key is generated in your browser and is never stored on our servers. Your project content, including documents, answers, plans, estimates, and the software prepared for you, is encrypted. We cannot read it unless you unlock it or grant us access, and you can revoke a grant at any time. We also keep an activity log of actions on your account, which only you can read, and the access grants you approve.

Billing. Card and payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us. We keep only what billing requires, such as your plan, invoices, and payment status.

Technical logs. We keep basic logs needed to run and protect the site, such as the time of a request, the page requested, and the browser type. If you open the account pages with an access key, we set a session cookie so those pages stay available in that browser. That cookie is not used for advertising.

This site uses no analytics or ad trackers.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Notify you when beta access opens, using the email address you submit on the sign-up page.
  • Notify our team of a sign-up and prevent abuse, using the email address, IP address, approximate location, browser details, and timestamp from the sign-up page.
  • Reply to a contact form message and prevent abuse, using the name, email, company, message, IP address, and browser details from the contact form.
  • Provide the service, including questions, a plan, a cost estimate, and software after you approve.
  • Protect the service, investigate misuse, and fix faults.
  • Reply when you contact us.
  • Meet a legal obligation.

4. AI processing

We process customer content with AI in order to deliver the service. That work includes reading the materials you provide, preparing questions, writing a plan and a cost estimate, and producing software after you approve the plan and the estimate.

Service providers that do this processing may handle the content for that purpose. This page does not name those providers or the models they use.

5. Who we share information with

We share information with service providers that help us run the service. We do not sell your information. The categories of provider are:

  • Hosting and storage providers that keep the website, sign-up emails, and project content available.
  • An email service provider that delivers the sign-up notification to our team.
  • An email service provider that delivers contact form messages to our team.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which is used on the contact form to prevent abuse and may process technical information such as IP address and browser details.
  • Providers that process customer content with AI so we can deliver the service.

6. Sharing limits

Those providers may use the information only to perform work for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect the service, our customers, or the rights of another person.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information while we need it to provide the service. The email address, IP address, approximate location, browser details, and timestamp from the sign-up page are kept so we can notify you when beta access opens, notify our team of the sign-up, and prevent abuse. The name, email, company, message, IP address, and browser details from the contact form are kept so we can reply and prevent abuse. Account, billing, and project content is kept while the account or project is in use.

You may ask us to delete information. We delete it when we no longer need it to provide a service you still use, to meet a legal obligation, or to resolve a dispute. This page does not set a fixed number of days or years.

8. Security

The customer holds the key.

Your private key is generated in your browser and never stored on our servers.

Code exports need two factors.

Agents reference stored credentials only by placeholder.

9. Your choices

You may ask us to give you access to information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Tell us what you want done. We may need to confirm that the request is yours before we act.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and ask us to delete it.

11. Where information is processed

Wave Engage and its service providers may process information in more than one country.

This policy does not promise that information stays in a particular country or region.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you have an account and a change is material, we may also email the address on the account.

Please read this page when you return to the service. The posted version is the one that applies.

13. Contact

To ask for access, a correction, or deletion, or to ask a question about this policy, use the contact page.
